Backstage magic

The stage is just the tip of the iceberg

Achieving audience engagement, delivering the right messages, and creating a lasting impact requires strict planning and meticulous attention to detail. Surprises must be only the positive ones. This is the process we follow for each of our presentations. We are very aware of what is at stake.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Depending on the messages the company needs to reinforce, one concept can be emphasized over another, while maintaining a coherent thematic axis that flows consistently.

An in-person keynote lasts for 60 minutes, and a virtual one lasts for 40 minutes.

The price does not vary based on the duration of the conference. The alignment and preparation of the presentation, as well as the travel and logistics, constitute the majority of the time invested. Therefore, a few minutes more or less on stage do not significantly affect the cost. It’s an experience provided that can be adjusted to the available time according to the event’s agenda.

The cost remains the same regardless of the number of attendees. The fact that there are fewer attendees does not represent less effort or a decrease in performance in any way. Whether it’s 10 people or 1000, the stage setup is complete to ensure the audience’s experience. When there are fewer attendees, our recommendation, if possible and depending on the topic, is to use the presentation as an opportunity to invite more people to attend: other departments, business units, clients, allies, or even suppliers.

For in-person keynotes, physical materials are provided, including a summary of the topic and tips for implementation, along with access to knowledge reinforcement capsules for further study (videos, PDFs, and exercises). In live webinars, the materials are digital, including concept summaries, tips for each topic, and learning reinforcement capsules. Some materials in English and some in Spanish.

Yes. For the in-person keynote, there is a raffle of books among the attendees at the end of the talk. For virtual keynotes, access to one of the two available online courses is raffled (Implementation Guides for ‘Bueno, Bonito y Carito’ and ‘Detalles que Enamoran’ in Spanish).

Yes. Although the keynote already includes complimentary books for raffling, the company can acquire additional books from us at a special price. These books are autographed by David (usually signed at the end of the conference along with the photos taken with David). These books can be bought when the keynote is in Colombia.

No. David adapts to the available venue and equipment. The minimum requirements are projection (video beam or LED screen), sound amplification (the talk includes sounds and videos), and a master to connect the microphone. David brings his own Countryman microphone and Sure equipment for connection, as well as a long-distance clicker. Projection can be done directly from David’s computer or from the production master if available.

Over the years, David has had the opportunity to speak to audiences from all imaginable sectors, companies of various sizes (from large multinationals to micro-entrepreneurs), covering roles from operational to executive, and spanning multiple geographies. This means he likely understands the specificities of your industry and the audience profiles.

Through a pre-alignment meeting, David becomes aware of cultural and, at times, language differences among the audience. He uses neutral language without specific regional idioms but rather those common to a region, for example, Latin America. When necessary, he includes translations of his slides into English or Portuguese.

Yes. However, it is not his preferred format. Based on previous experiences, hybrid events tend to be a great experience for those present but do not necessarily have the same impact on remote attendees. The reason is that in-person attention and interaction typically dominate, making it challenging to engage a virtual audience simultaneously. In order to achieve the maximum impact, David’s preference is to deliver a 100% live or 100% virtual conference.

Yes. In addition to Spanish, his native language, he speaks English. When the audience is Portuguese-speaking, he can speak in English or Spanish, including subtitles in Portuguese for his slides.

David’s specialty is keynotes. In very specific circumstances, after delivering a talk, he works on applied exercises with the audience (mini-workshop type).

Unfortunately, no. Since it is copyrighted and protected intellectual property, it is not possible to record the conference, either in person or virtual. This is why each conference includes a powerful set of materials for revisiting the concept. Multiple topics, each with a video from David and a reference document with a reflection for application. In fact, based on our own experience, attendees are more likely to watch short 3-5 minute clips (the ones from the materials) than to re-watch an entire presentation.

David is based in Bogotá, Colombia. Any travel is done from this city.

We are six people. David is the public figure, but there is a whole committed team behind him. Customer support, design, operations, administration, accounting, and legal are all part of our dream team.
